Flavor Profile
Tasting Notes (from label)“The estate of Casale Vecchio is situated at 500 m.s.l., where the temperature range is optimal to obtain wines of a very high qualitative level. All the vineyards have been installed with the guyot system, with 5500 vines per hectar, the production is very low and our oenologist Filippo Baccalaro controls accurately all the cultivation phases of the vineyard. The Casale Vecchio montepulciano d'abruzzo wine is obtained by a long period of maceration of grapes, they are left to soak in prestigious wooden barriques then the wine is left in bottles to refine, to exhalt and armonize perfumes and aroma.”
